jada - love yourself now
Hi, I’m Jadalyn!
My nickname is “Jada” as one’s nickname is. Shorter than your original name, but still something someone calls you. My actual name is “Jadalyn,” though, and recently, I’ve been going by it. Going by my full name kinda feels like I am stepping into version of me that is “whole.”
One thing that I love doing is finding symbolism between the things in my environment and my life. Something that I did to help myself become a better, “whole” version of myself is use my name. I separated it into two parts Jada and LYN. Jada, of course, representing myself and LYN representing the phrase “love yourself now.” I’ve come up with a few phrases or mantras or affirmations (whatever you want to call it; I haven’t labeled LYN as any of those, but you get the idea) that fit the acronym such as: love yourself nonetheless or love yourself nevertheless, but “love yourself now” is something that stuck with me and helped me throughout my day-to-day life. Stopping my thoughts and just saying “Jada - love yourself now” with maybe some sass or even anger really has helped me to stop “overthinking,” become mindful and love or at least be gr8ful (grateful) for who I am now.
